Soccer is the best sport in the world.
I go to Hagley park on Tuesdays to play soccer with my team.I play striker or midfield or defence.I like playing midfield best.I love playing soccer all the time.Soccer is a lot fun.I played soccer with my friends in Afghanistan.We played soccer in the streets.It was lot a fun.Soccer keeps me fit.it’s not a very dangerous sport to play like rugby or American football.It’s good to play on a team,learn new skills and make good friends.

Soccer is the best sport in the world.So go on and give it a go

My Whanau Story

My Grandfather My grandfather, Hussein, is my hero. He tried to save Afghanistan from the Russians in the 1979 -1989 war. He was a spy with other Mujahideen  rebels to fight for a free Afghanistan. The Mujahideen are the people who fight against those who hate Islam. The Russians wanted to take over Afghanistan but the people fought hard to stop them. One day the Russians went house to house looking for spies.  They found my grandfather, his brother and their families. The Russian soldiers burst in and arrested Hussein and all the other men in the village.  Everyone was really, really frightened. They took them all away and executed them.  My grandfather and his brother never came home. My grandfather, Hussein, is my hero because he loved his country so much that he wanted it to be free.  He died for his country.  He was very brave and strong.
